One Terminal command measures the folders that usually fill a Mac: caches, logs, Xcode and simulator data, package manager caches, AI models and more. Paste what it prints and this page tells you what each one is and whether it is safe to clear.
1Copy this into Terminal
It runs du, which only measures folder sizes. It never deletes or changes anything, needs no password and sends nothing over the network. Folders you don't have are skipped.
